T-Rex Dinosaur 3D Scroll Saw Plans


We are currently offering our dinosaur T-Rex 3D Scroll Saw Toy Puzzle Plans that you can use to build your own dinosaur puzzle up to 4 feet tall.

These are available as PDF format plans that you can print from your own computer.

Plans are $10.00 for the PDF download.

About The Plans

  • These complete plans total 62 pages of actual plan sheets that you can print at home and start using immediately.
  • Plans are included for a 16-inch, a 32-inch and a 48-inch tall T-Rex 3D skeleton puzzle.
  • The material thickness used for each plan is as shown:
    • 16-inch tall – ¼ inch Baltic birch plywood - 5 plan sheets
    • 32-inch tall – ¼ inch Baltic birch plywood - 17 plan sheets
    • 48-inch tall – ½ inch Baltic birch plywood - 40 plan sheets
  • Different thicknesses of materials can be used by adjusting the width of the slots in the pieces.
  • Puzzle pieces that span more than one printed page are matched up to following pages with match lines for easy layouts.
  • Since you print the plans, you can print as many copies as you need and you don't need to worry about losing the originals.

What You Need For This Project

  • Woodworking skills for this project are considered to be at a beginner level.
  • A location to cut out the pieces for the plans in a safe manner.
  • A scroll saw with the proper blade for the thickness of material being used.
  • A bandsaw does make cutting the larger size layouts into smaller pieces that are easier to handle.
  • Double sided tape or spray adhesive to hold the plan sheets to the material being cut.
  • Sandpaper.

  • The plans are in PDF format so you can print as many copies as you need for your personal use.
